Scenery You'll See
Set against the backdrop of the rugged and forested Boston Mountains region of the Ozark Mountains, this beautiful route travels through some astounding vistas and a tunnel of brilliant foliage during spring, summer and fall. This route also crosses the Mulberry River and the 165-mile Ozark Highlands Trail. Traveling through deep wooded terrain, the road trip runs between valleys and beside streams to mountain hard curves. The road is full of 15 mph hairpin bends with drop-offs and short straights between them. This drive is referred to as the Arkansas Dragon, in reference to North Carolina's route known as "The Dragon". You can buy pins and patches of this at a general store midway of the route.
Towns/Cities You'll Pass By/Through
Not much "urban scenery". It is a road trip specializing in natural beauty and twisty roads! The route can be extended 18 miles north to the town of Huntsville. Here you will find complete visitor services, food, gas and ample lodging.
Attractions & Points-of-Interests Along the Way
There are plenty of recreational opportunities along the Pig Trail. From open fields and pastures to rugged cedar breaks and rocky bluffs, this route trip abounds with things to see and do. The banks of the Mulberry River provide great fishing opportunities. You can also go whitewater rafting or kayaking down miles of clear rushing waters of the White River. Take a hike along the Ozark Highlands Trail and enjoy the stunning widespread views beneath. At the end of the trail you'll find a campground with some lodges and cabin sites.

Comments: I have ridden the pig trail four times on my bicycle, from Fayetteville to Ozark. I always stop at "Turner Bend" where the trail crosses the Mulberry River. This is a great ride and the people I meet at TB are numerous and friendly. A great ride for bicyclists, motorcyclists, and "automobilists!"

Attraction or Point-of-Interest recommendation: Hookup Women Utilizes Free Issues? An Excellent Horizontal Advantage! Cost-free hookup women meet real girls on the web is the best solution if you're sick and tired of planning to bars and clubs just to be prevented, and even a whole lot worse, laughed at. I know what it's like because I've been there. I was individual and distressed during the time -- I needed a whole new partner -- nevertheless i continued seeking because I needed not one other decision. If you're one particular man who would like to hookup with alluring girls without planning to those spots where the women are on your own, this article might just alter your lifestyle. It would make clear why courting on the web is the ideal option if you're a men who may be too shy to method a beautiful female in a club or club.

Attraction or Point-of-Interest recommendation: Turner Bend Store and campground on the Mulberry River 10 miles or so north of Ozark is a great place to stop and get a cup of coffee or just sit there and talk with other travelers. The part I like the most is that highway 23 is a great jumping off place for other great roads to ride. Check the map and you'll see. I ride the Pig Trail often and never get tired of it. Enjoy!

Route update, correction, or addition: UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! Normally, I love the Pig Trail, but be warned that they started construction in fall of 2009! There are more trucks on the roads, and some areas are being removed (a bit of dirt). Hate for someone to hate the ride because you're stuck behind a logging or dirt truck OR have problems dealing with a construction area. Recommendation: call Turner Bend convenience store for most recent details before you make the ride.
